Description
Tour of Duty debuted on 1987 and lasted until 1990. It was an American television drama series filmed at Vietnam. The first ever tv show that showed American's in combat. Tour of Duty was produced by Oliver Stone Film.
It was created by Steve Duncan and L Travis Clark. Produced by Zev Braun and was broadcast at CBS. In addition, the tv show won an Emmy Award in 1989 and 1990. It was not a simple action program. It also depicts racism, terrorism, suicide, deaths of civilians and drug abuse. Furthermore, it also features the lives and feelings of the troops who has been in the battle and finally made it home.
